sciatrixI got complimented on my hair yesterday. I'm ridiculously pleased. Not because I have any remaining uncertainty on my hair, which looks fucking fantastic in a short pixie, but because every single compliment I get on it can be squirrelled away for the next time I see my mother and she decides to comment on it.
It's a lovely fall day, I'm getting data from my experiment which is almost suspiciously good, and I have today off. I spent yesterday listening to a good friend sing and then hanging out with her, which was excellent in its own way. I'm less upset and spirally than yesterday, and suspect I will continue to relax as long as I stay the fuck away from AVEN. Small favors.
