Dec. 11th, 2010 10:12 amSo I just finished reading Boneshaker by Cherie Priest yesterday. I'd started it before finals, had to stop because of Genetics Deathmarch, and then I started it up again and finished it last night.
I want to be Briar when I grow up, first. She is made of pure unadulterated awesome. Actually, I think every single female character in the entire thing was, but Briar is my total favorite.
Also, I finally signed up for training classes with Oliver! I am so excited about getting back into the swing of training again. We're only retaking Basic Obedience, since what I want to work on is his leash reactivity, so I'm not really anticipating much newness. But the nice woman I spoke to about choosing a class told me the guy who teaches it will probably be willing to work with me on other stuff during the bits where Oliver and I mostly know what we're doing, so hooray.
Now I'm heading out to the park for a couple of hours of relaxation.
