I'm feeling discontented and shortchanged by the essay on the "temperamentally blessed" since it doesn't address quality of early-childhood caregiver attachment at all. I know it's a less sexy answer because it's less changeable later in life after reading a couple self-help articles, but I seriously think it's a huge component.
