(I confess, I haven't watched The Big Bang Theory in months at this point, so I had no idea exactly what they were referring to there and figured the show had started "fixing" Sheldon. >_<) Yeah, if I'd known that was what the person meant, confusing romance with sexuality, I would have answered that question to attempt to explain more about romantic aces than to explain about grey-As. Whoops.
Mind, it's always pretty difficult for me to explain terribly well when romantic aces come up because, well, I'm not and I find the question of romance terribly confusing, so I usually end up leaving that at "some asexual people get crushes on people and want to date, but I personally find the whole thing complicated so I tend to stick to friendship." I think I did mention that later in the panel when I got the question about defining asexuality, but it hadn't yet come up when I got the Sheldon question.
