Oct. 8th, 2008 01:12 pmSo. It's raining miserably outside and I'm giving myself a little bit of playtime before I buckle down to work in order to start this LJ thing for real.
Right. Well, I'm currently embarking on the Great Adventure-cum-Exhausting Slog that is my college education and attempting degrees in Genetics and Psychology. I'm an American girl who really, really enjoys tea, and despite the fact that I live in the South, I believe it's best with no more than a dab of honey as sweetener (if that). Iobsess about like dogs. I lurk a lot.
To be honest, I've started this whole LJ thing because I really like fanfiction, particularly Good Omens fanfiction, and the best of that is here. I want to be able to comment on the good stories and tell people how awesome they are (and I need to make myself stop lurking so much).
Unfortunately, I can't/won't/don't write my own fic. This is partly because I don't have anything like the necessary creative talent, at least in my own eyes. It is also partly because I tend to feel that when I get into the swing of writing, my voice dessicates into a dry scholar's account of whatever I'm writing about.
I have no idea how often I'm going to update this, which is fine as I sincerely doubt anyone is planning to read it but me.
