I opened my mouth today and found myself saying, rather emphatically: "I don't want the same job but with a better salary and a better boss. I want the job to have a better salary, but I want to be the boss."

In other news, I get to see Captain Marvel tonight so expect comments in a later spoiler post.

LOL I haven't actually written them out anywhere! I loved it, especially from the context of all the commentary on the military from servicewomen. It's a perspective you do not generally see in fandom, and basically I want all the fic humanly possible centering on Maria because oh my god.

Maria is my current favourite as well. I hope she gets more screentime in the future as well and I hope to see lots of good fic featuring her, her backstory, and her relationship with Carol. Thank you so much for this reply :D
